Vanity Affair Tightens it's Industry Circle

Well-known and respected Industry label, Vanity Affair, recently went to social media to announce it's 'Protection Plan' prior to their 2021 launch. The plan was imposed by label CEO and Founder, Nicki Marshall (@NickiAllure) in which she believes will help "....to protect the safety and integrity of our business."

According to Vanity Affair, the plan was imposed due to concerns of the media 'intentional spiting' or discrediting their artists.

"Any outlets that create false information to tarnish the credibility and outlook of our brand/clients will be discarded, and we will encourage our supporters + Partnered companies/businesses to no longer support or engage with such platforms." - Vanity Affair Industry

Billboard expressed concerns for the protection plan, in fear media outlets may take offense and blackball Vanity Affair artists from their platforms. In response, Nicki Marshall stated "We are speaking out against blogs or platforms that intentionally target us negatively. If they are upset about that they are apart of the problem."

With signed artist Jarvis Malik debuting at #4 on the Hot 20, it is clear Vanity Affair has major plans to get back into the industry game. Along with Queen Productions and Columbia Records executives, Nicki Marshall was signed to the Billboard official committee and label executive in order for Billboard to fairly represent all artists and not show bias/favoritism in company practices.

"All bias/unfair platforms have now been discarded, and we will continue to grow/develop this plan." stated Vanity Affair in their final press tweet towards this matter.
