Milan Fashion Week: A Sit-down with Fashion Expert, Jake Vos.

Industry elites and artists are gearing up for Milan Fashion Week, hosted by the Fashion Federation from February 23-27th. Billboard sits down with the CEO of the Fashion group, Jake Vos (@HabJakeVos), for an exclusive interview regarding the event.

BILLBOARD: What exactly can we expect from this event in terms of show time and production?

JAKE VOS: Milan Fashion Week will showcase the work of 8 designers in the span of 4 days. The show schedule is pretty straightforward, with 2 fashion shows presenting every day with the first show starting at 9PM and the second show at 10PM GMT. Our hub will be based in the centre of Milan, and each shows are very unique, as each designers have full control of what they decide to showchase. It has taken a whole month to plan out and construct this show, with 10 of us collaboarting to make Milan Fashion Week happen.

B: Do you have any details on the venue that you would like to share?

J: Milan Fashion Week will have a space, where everyone can gather, take photos and wait for when the show starts. I've been working on it for weeks, trying to replicate a famous place in Milan, so I hope it will like we are actually stepping into Milan. I won't give away too much, but the place itself is quite well known and a tourist spot in Milan.

B: We see Beyonce is going to be there presenting pieces from her IVY Park collection, can you tell us how it is working with her and what kind of pieces can we expect to see from her?

J: Haha, yes, it's always a pleasure to work with TribBeyonce, we're quite excited to see what she will bring us during Fashion Week. I'm afraid I can't tell you what she's going to be doing because... I don't know! However, I can tell you that the show will be as good as the others, so you will have to attend all of them!

B: Will any of the presented pieces be place upon mannequins for others to wear after the event is concluded?

J: That would depend on the designers themselves, their work, their rules. However, each pieces are haute couture, so they are one in a million. You would

need to get in touch with the designer to make an appointment to try on their pieces!

B: We have a question from the public as well: HabPop is excited to have a Fashion SLIDESHOW: HabPop's 2020 Fashion Week Federation on the hotel, any more events that you plan to bring to the hotel?

J: We're glad we can bring Fashion Federation into Habpop, even though we are here to bring Fashion Week to Habpop, we are a collaborators of Fashion. We will collaborate with designers, opening up their stores, hosting fashion related events and so on... we are not just doing Fashion Week!
