Gucce Lorenz, An International Brand

Billboard sits down with international Latin socialite, singer, and model Gucce Lorenz.

BILLBOARD: The one and only, Gucce Lorenz! How are you feeling today?

GUCCE: Hi! I'm very fine actually, thank you guys for having me.

B: Thank you for allowing Billboard to interview you, we've been watching you through our Latin department and we must say, you've made quite the impact on both Latin and English communities. How does being an international icon feel?

G: Well thank you. I would say that it feels good but at the same time is a lot of pressure actually. Because I'm always trying to be in different places and do different things and this and that you know. But at the end of the day it is worth the effort.

B: How did you get involved with the Habbo industry?

G: I think I started playing habbo around the 2008-2009 so I've seen so much things going on. But when I really involved in the fashion industry was at the end of 2013. I was literally in love with the pixel art so I started watching people's arts, watching tutorials, until I felt ready to start doing pixelart.

B: You've been modelling some of the hottest fashions lately, such as Gucci and The Estello Brand. What inspired your career in modelling?

G: Yeah! Working with Gucci was such an amazing experience and with The Estello Brand too, I love the Estello family, they're such amazing people and talented. I think I got a lot of inspiration, I can't tell you what specifically 'cause I don't really now but when I'm working on something, a lot of images comes to my head like "Yes, I like that maybe if I put my own twist on it" do you understand? but yeah, I have a lot of inspiration that comes from all places.

B: Being from the Latin side of the industry, what are some differences you see between it and the English community?

G: Well, I always say that the English community (the side that I know) is very very supportive. They're like always supporting you, your work, your releases and everything. That's something that sadly we don't have a lot in our community. The most of the people aren't really involved in the fashion/pop community. And when they are involved, they are really selective and close about who they want to support.

B: You're also apart of the girl group, Platinum. Can we expect to see any music from you guys in the near future?

G: That's something that I can tell you 'cause I don't even know. I love my girls but right now we are on different places, our careers are taking a little different ways so we don't know. But of course I'll love to work with them again and bring some new music to the table. It's always a pleasure work with them.

B: Which member of this community inspires you the most?

G: Wow that's a hard question! But I think there are two members that I'll never forget. I love MsCamaraderie, I think her work it's just amazing. She's so creative, she's always coming up with new things and she's so professional. The other person is Mykki Milan. I mean he's on the top right know, he's humble, he's a good person, he's so talented, and I don't know I just love his work. God I'm such a fan!

B: Who is your favorite custom artist right now?

G: Wow actually I don't think I can choose one right now, but. I live for Beg for It by Cara and Paris, actually it's my jam. Cara is really good, she know what she do I mean, she killed it everytime and I'm like yasssss. I love Mia too, she's so creative and adorable! I love watching her videos 'cause they're so well done. Greeted it's amazing, I was in her concert and I was screaming like crazy I mean did you have seen her stage? That stage blow my mind. I love her and her videos and music and everything.

B: Any information on upcoming projects that you would like to spill? The fans would love to know!

G: Well there's always something new coming. Right know I think I need space to focus on my career. As a Single individual. I'm always trying to change, reinvented myself and do different things. So I think with me you can expect everything or anything. We'll just never know.
