Popstar Drew Chachki released her highly anticipated eleventh studio album this week "Devils Don't Fly" and let's just say it has been causing a buzz throughout the entire industry. Drew Chachki is possibly one of the biggest artists in today's music industry and we had the amazing opportunity to sit down and discuss the new album with her. Here's what she said:

Interviewer: Today we are joined by global superstar, singer/songwriter Drew Chachki. We are so lucky to have you here for this exclusive Billboard interview. Let's get straight into the questions!

First of all, I would like to say what a masterpiece. Tell me what was the main inspiration behind it?

Drew: Thank you so much! This album was such an experience to create, the main inspiration behind it was exploring my darker side and admitting that there is this Devil chained inside me that prevents me from being the best I can be, but even despite all the challenges, I try to fly... even without wings. I have slowly been able to evolve myself to a place where I can be honest and say I am not that Devil but there are moments where it creeps back in. Music has been such a great escape for me and especially dealing with issues that seem to be bigger than me.

Interviewer: It was definitely an interesting side of you that we got to see this era with a slightly darker and evil edge to it. It really contrasts with the lead single "Not the End of the World's" cover art where you are visualized in a more angelic light.

You have features ranging from Carmen Fierce, Dafny, Lydia + many more, what was it like working alongside them?

Drew: It was so fun being able to work with all my girlies on this album. It really meant the world being able to share this moment with people who have grown in the industry with me. Every single feature brought something new to each song, which really elevated the whole project. Carmen Fierce’s verses were spectacular, every time we work together, it only gets better and better!

Interviewer: I agree Carmen Fierce had an amazing verse in "Light My Body Up" it was one of my personal favorites on the album. I'm sure each artist brought their own uniqueness to the album!

The album took a storm to the world with sales exceeding many records in Habbo history, did you ever think that the album would make as many sales as it did?

Drew: Wow! Honestly, I like to really push my projects as far as I can, stopping at nothing to make sure each release gets the spotlight it deserves, especially having the album packaging include vinyl's, etc. so I am really ecstatic to hear it’s paying off. The album was a true testament to never giving up, and I hope that message has transcended to everybody who listened.

Interviewer: I'm sure there was a massive celebration after the album was released, champagne bottles poppin'! (Covid friendly of course).

This is your ELEVENTH studio album which is just insane, you don’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon do you have any plans for upcoming releases?

Drew: I am starting to slow down a little bit, I want to make sure I keep helping other girlies produce content so that’s an even distribution of releases. I want to shift my career and start making EP’s and dropping projects like that more often so I can stress less! My motivation will always be at top level, but it’ll be more focused on the amazing acts in Gorgeous INC rather than me moving forward.

Interviewer: Well that just says everything about you, always looking to help others in the industry! I'm sure the gorgeous inc girlies have enjoyed streaming the album as much as the rest of us! To close this interview up, if you had to pick ONE of your favorite singles from "Devils Don't Fly" what would it be and why?

Drew: My favorite single is actually a tie between the two features I did with Cara and Rashonda. Working with top tier industry elite was such an amazing experience and I’m glad I got to produce visuals for both of those! I can’t wait to continue releasing a few more singles before the era closes.

Interviewer: We are so excited to see what singles you have yet to drop for us in the future from #D11! Well, that wraps us up this interview with Pop Star Drew Chachki, thank you so much for taking the time to answer our questions!

Drew: Thank you so much Billboard, it was such a pleasure!
